Advanced, Ultra-Compact FTIR Spectrometer by Bruker
Redefining portability in spectroscopy, Bruker’s ALPHA II is as compact as a standard laboratory notebook yet remains unparalleled in its analytical capability. With its intuitive plug-and-play design and user-friendly software, you can trust in the Bruker brand for top-tier FTIR analysis.
In the realm of quality control, Bruker understands that the primary focus is ensuring that a sample aligns with its specifications. With the QuickCompare feature within Bruker’s OPUS software, an efficient evaluation function is at your fingertips. Setting up QuickCompare methods is effortless, delivering clear and reliable results. Additionally, for instances like identifying unknown contaminants leading to product failures, Bruker provides automated searches using analogous reference spectrums from spectral libraries.
One of Bruker’s standout innovations is the incorporation of the user-centric OPUS Touch software. Coupled with a touch-screen interface and an integrated PC, Bruker ensures intuitive operation and analysis, making it user-friendly even for novices.
Bruker’s easily interchangeable QuickSnapTM sampling modules facilitate the analysis of a diverse range of samples, whether they’re solid, liquid, or gaseous.
The Bruker-crafted, permanently aligned RockSolidTM interferometer stands out with its patented design, offering over 20% enhanced throughput compared to conventional designs. It incorporates dual retro reflection cube corner mirrors and a wear-resistant pivot mechanism centered at the mass core, ensuring unparalleled stability and reliability even in challenging environments. Thanks to Bruker’s innovative approach, issues like mirror tilt and mechanical mirror shear are efficiently addressed.
The ALPHA’s compact design makes it a portable spectrometry choice. Its mobility is further boosted with a range of accessories:
Our range of autosampling tools offers solutions for a plethora of samples and analysis types.
The DRIFT module caters to a wide array of solid samples, from powders and gemstones to paper and textiles. Designed for effortless sampling with high light penetration, it provides unparalleled efficiency for FTIR diffuse reflection evaluations.
ATR, a user-friendly FTIR sampling technique, is apt for both solid and liquid samples and eliminates the need for sample preparation. The Budget ATR is a single reflection module that offers exceptional value, furnished with a versatile high-throughput ZnSe ATR crystal, apt for examining powders, solids, pastes, and liquids.
These special reflection modules offer a non-invasive, contact-free FT-IR assessment of substantial samples, be it placed atop or ahead of the device. Whether it’s paper, textiles, large car parts, or murals during restoration, samples can be easily analyzed. An integrated camera aids in pinpointing the analysis area.
These dedicated modules, equipped with an integrated gas cell, facilitate transmission IR spectroscopic assessments of gases and their mixtures. The ALPHA module with a 7 cm gas cell has a minimized volume ensuring swift gas exchanges and lesser sample amounts. The 4.8 m gas cell module offers heightened sensitivity for trace concentrations. Additionally, heating options are present to avert gas condensation.
This ATR module, equipped with a horizontal ZnSe ATR crystal, is perfectly tuned for assessing pastes, gels, and liquids. With six internal reflections and unparalleled light throughput, it guarantees top-tier ATR measurement sensitivity, even for samples with minimal concentration.
The ALPHA Platinum ATR offers a single reflection diamond ATR module that adds convenience to routine testing. It boasts an ergonomic one-touch clamp for effortless sample placement. Cleaning is made simple with the 360° rotatable pressure applicator that offers unhindered access to the sampling.
The all-in-one module makes analyzing a broad spectrum of samples – solids, liquids, and gases – a breeze. The 2×3″ standard sample holder in this transmission compartment is adaptable for various gas and liquid cells. Solid specimens can be placed using a standard pellet holder or a magnetic film holder. Reflective surface samples have a special reflection measurement accessory.
Software-controlled heating devices.
Fast and reliable FT-IR spectroscopic measurement of diamonds in diffuse reflection. Software wizard guides the user through the complete analysis procedure. In a first step diamonds are distinguished from imitations or other precious gemstones. Then an accurate and reliable determination of the diamond type is performed. Finally the result of the analysis is presented in a well-arranged report (pdf or csv file).
Fast and reliable identification of legal and illegal substances. Simple sampling and the intuitive design of the software interface. A powerful mixture analysis allows to determine the individual components e.g. of laced drugs. Finally, the result of the analysis is presented in a meaningful report (pdf). To be able to always identify new drugs, system can be upgraded by a dedicated spectra library from TICTAC Communications Ltd.
Fast and reliable identification of the main chemical components in kidney stones. The identification of the components in the kidney stone sample is performed by automated search of the resulting spectrum in a dedicated spectral library containing >5,000 spectra of authentic kidney stones. A clear report (hardcopy, pdf or csv file) of the identification result finalizes the analysis.
